Fire Arms and Weapons:

Fire Arms and Weapons are prohibited in the health center. County Code 16 P.S. Sections 509 and 2326 of the county code, act of August 9, 1955 P.L. 323, as amended prohibits fire arms/weapons of any kind in a county public facility.

Our Executive Board of Directors passed a Resolution in March 2004 to make these restrictions more inclusive. Fire Arms, Weapons and other hardware that could be associated are prohibited in the facility. This would include, but not be limited to, guns, bows, cross bows, stun guns, mace, pepper sprays, ammunition, explosives, arrows, knives, etc. that could cause harm and/or damage to a person or the facility. Penalties for violation of such rules and regulations will be strictly enforced by the Fayette County Sheriff.
